I happened upon your blog and thoroughly enjoy it. I too have to have Taylor or Case (the better of the two) pork roll purchased in New Jersey and hand delivered to me in Georgia! It then becomes almost as if a holiday has miraculously appeared with the feast of pork roll on a kaiser roll with american cheese and a fried egg! I grew up on Scrapple, Spam and Pork roll but at 45 y.o. can only handle eating pork roll now. Thanks for the memory!

Joe and I enjoyed your comments of some of his secret favorite foods. In fact, I see an opened can of Spam in the refrigerator now. Since learning that my cholesterol was elevated a few years ago I gave up my favorite, corned beef hash, but I still have scrapple occasionally. A few years ago we went to breakfast at Hank's in Chadds Ford and ordered a scrapple sandwich. The waitress couldn't remember the price because hardly anyone orders that treat, cooked crisp and slathered with ketchup.

Here's another way of enjoying Deviled Ham that I admit I haven't tried in years - Scrambled Eggs and Deviled Ham. I think I'll try it this weekend!

Keep cookin!
